About

Hi my name is Elton Liu and I’m from Manchester England. I have been learning and creating websites for roughly over a year. I would like to start a career in the web industry as a web developer or a web designer.

Skills

Currently I am able to create websites that comply with strict web standards using XHTML and CSS. I have an extensive knowledge of PHP/MySQL and am able to create database driven dynamic web pages. I have a good understanding of object oriented programming and can write JavaScript code without the use of frameworks.

In addition to programming skills I am also experience in graphics illustration software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I’ve also got experience in creating Adobe Flash Animation and have a good understanding of both key frame and Action Script 3.

University

In 2006 I’ve graduated with a 2:1 honour in Computer Graphics. This course focuses on both graphics theory and object-oriented programming. Therefore I have acquired extensive knowledge in object-oriented programming, UML documentation and 3D graphics theory. From my studies I have a good understanding in Autodesk 3Ds Max and C++ OpenGL programming. In addition I’ve also gained some knowledge in Visual C# and Java.
